Expert Garage Door Installation & Replacement for Every Home
Durable, Stylish Garage Doors That Add Security, Function & Curb Appeal — Built for Utah Homes
Why Paramount Peaks for Garage Doors?
At Paramount Peaks Builders & Exteriors, we install and replace residential garage doors. Your garage door is usually the largest single element on the front of your home, and it is also the largest moving part — so it has to look right and it has to be installed right.
A garage door is more than an opening. It is a security barrier, an insulated wall against the weather, and the first thing most people see from the street. With over 30 years of experience, Paramount Peaks installs doors that seal properly, run quietly, and lift your curb appeal for decades.
30+ Years of Experience
Trusted expertise installing and replacing residential garage doors.
Styles, Colors & Finishes
Carriage house, modern flush, raised panel, and full-view glass, in colors and finishes chosen to match your home.
Built for Utah Weather
Insulated door options and properly fitted seals to hold heat in through winter and keep dust and snow out.
Security & Quiet Operation
Reinforced construction, secure hardware, and quiet lift so the door does not wake the house.

Garage Door Services
Upgrade the largest feature on your home’s facade with a professionally installed garage door—chosen for insulation, security, and the way it reads from the curb.
Full Door Replacement
We measure the opening, remove and haul away your old door and hardware, then install the new door, tracks, springs, and opener connection. You get a door that is balanced and sealed on day one, not one that needs a follow-up visit.
Insulated Doors
For attached and heated garages, insulated steel doors cut heat loss, reduce road noise, and stand up better to dents. We will walk you through the insulation options and what actually makes a difference in a Utah winter.
Styles & Custom Options
Carriage house, modern flush, raised panel, and full-view glass — in steel, composite, or wood-look finishes, with window and hardware options to match your home. We install new doors and complete replacements; we do not take repair or service calls.
Our Installation Process
We believe the details make the difference. Every garage door is measured, fitted, and balanced by hand — because a door that is out of true will tell on itself every single day.

Wildly pushy. I told Derek I would talk to my husband and let him know if I was interested. He has been borderline harassing me since we met 2.5 weeks ago. I told him not to contact me and he was being to pushy. I told him I would let him know if I wanted to move forward and there was no need for further contact on his part. He told me not to mistake his passion for his job for pressure. Ok gaslighter. Unfortunately I didn’t have his number saved and answered today. He told me his name and I said I told him I would reach out if I was interested and I was getting off the phone. He calls me back two more times and leaves this passive aggressive message. Get out. He kept trying to get me to sign and “he would cancel if I decided against it”. It was the end of the month and he was trying to hit his sales numbers. Then he tells me in his message I said I would totally sign but I never did. I would never work with a company that employs since pushy and gross sales people. I also had them give me quotes for two other projects when they first quoted the stone on my house. They were so grossly over priced compared to the other 2 quotes I previously received.+1Posted on Google![]()

Bid came in lower than we expected and the doors are better than we could have hoped for. Due to a holiday it took a couple days longer than we expected, but upon looking at the finished product we are over the moon!!! Josh, Blake and Nick (and Ozzy) all went above and beyond beyond to assure that our dreams were fulfilled.Posted on Google![]()

I wish I could give Paramount Peaks 10 stars. I've hired many professionals in my 50 plus years, and this has been by far the best experience I've ever had. I have a difficult slope that drops steeply 20 feet and more (see photos). We've wanted a deck since we built the house 20 years ago, but finances and finding the right builder took time. Boy, am I glad we waiting until hiring Paramount Peaks. Josh was stellar to work with. He kept me updated and informed throughout. He's just a pleasure to work with. And then Hagen, who is an artist, built the 22x12 deck in THREE DAYS! He's fearless and, I swear, part mountain goat. Andrew was another I throughly enjoyed working with. A great team! I'm planning on them coming back to do more as finances allow. I highly recommend hiring them. These projects can be stressful. This one was just a joy. The job came in on budget, was started and completed in record time, and finished to a high level of quality that exceeded my expectations. I've never had that happen with a construction project. Joseph and Ryan and the entire team were wonderful throughout the entire process. They made sure I understood the project at hand and the cost breakdown. Very kind yet professional and easy to work with. The project didn’t take long either. Would highly recommend!Posted on Google![]()

My interaction with this company was brief, but made a lasting impression. It was truly a pleasure meeting with Joseph and getting his take on my project. I was thoroughly impressed with his knowledge, his understanding of my situation, and his honest and good advice. It was very refreshing to be on the receiving end of that today. In the end, he made suggestions that would save me money (something I really needed), and would not result in me working with them this time. So even though I won’t get to enjoy working with him in the very near future, I will definitely be keeping his information and sharing it with others and hope to work with him on a future project.Posted on Google![]()

Working with Andy and team was an incredible experience. The work was done quick, looks great, and Andy took time to explain the pros and cons of framing different parts of my basement. It is good to have someone like Andy in your corner when you have a project. Highly recommendPosted on Google![]()

Garage Door Questions, Answered
Straight answers to what homeowners ask us most. For questions about siding, roofing, windows and the rest of your exterior, see our exterior FAQ.
Do you repair garage doors, or only install and replace them?
We install new garage doors and complete replacements. We do not take repair or service calls. If your door is broadly sound but something has failed, a dedicated repair company will get to you faster. If the door is at the end of its life, replacement is what we do.
How do I know whether to repair or replace my garage door?
Repair usually makes sense for a single failed part on a door that is otherwise in good condition. Replacement tends to be the better value when panels are cracked or rusted through, sections are separating, the door has needed repeated fixes, or the garage is attached and the existing door has no insulation at all.
Do I need an insulated garage door in Utah?
If the garage is attached or heated, insulation earns its place: insulated steel doors cut heat loss, reduce road noise and stand up better to dents. For a detached, unheated garage used mainly for storage, insulation matters far less and the money is usually better spent elsewhere.
What garage door styles do you install?
Carriage house, modern flush, raised panel and full-view glass, in steel, composite or wood-look finishes, with window and hardware options chosen to match your home.
What is the difference between steel, composite and wood-look doors?
Steel is the most common choice: strong, low maintenance and available with insulation. Composite resists moisture and rot and holds paint well. Wood-look finishes give the appearance of timber without the upkeep a real wood door demands.
What happens on installation day?
We measure the opening, remove and haul away your old door and hardware, then install the new door, tracks, springs and opener connection. Every door is measured, fitted and balanced by hand before we leave, because a door that is out of true will tell on itself every single day.
What does a new garage door cost in Utah?
It depends on the size of the opening, the material, the level of insulation, and whether you want windows or upgraded hardware. We measure on site and give a no-obligation proposal, so the number reflects your opening rather than a generic average.
